gore-founder I've had my eye on this band for a while now. Crazy technical and juicy riffage produced by some really talented guys. Favorite track: A Valediction.

densepoplar I was surprised by how much I liked this album. Yes these guys are masters (this lineup and the last) but sometimes a big tech death album gets a bit samey, and Obscura is not exactly a fresh new band. But this album is long and interesting, lots of awesome licks and shredding. The whole feels coherent but there's more than enough variation to keep me interested. Great aggressive biking music. Favorite track: The Neuromancer.

gs20 The Cambridge show was great, such a tight band. Go and catch a show! Favorite track: Devoured Usurper.
